Yesterday we installed this 6.095kW Grid Connect Solar System in Mooroobool. This system comprises 23x GCL P6/60 265W solar panels and an ABB PVI-5000TL-OUTD inverter.
As the roof on this house has both a perfect eastern and western aspect the panels were split with 12 installed on the east and 11 on the west This gives the advantage of producing a more constant output of electricity during the day, helping to increase self-consumption. There is a slight compromise with the total amount of power produced (around 5% with this roof angle) but with the high feed-in tariffs a thing of the past, a constant supply of power can be more beneficial.
