On Friday, the Sunny Solar team installed this 6.09kW Grid Connect Solar System.
This system comprised 23 x ET Elite 265W solar panels, the Fronius Primo 5.0-1 inverter with Fronius Smart meter and a generator changover switch with inlet socket.
The Smart Meter is an awesome add on for the Fronius inverters that allows you to view (in real time) what your system is producing, what you are consuming and how much you are drawing from or feeding back into the grid. It also will show you how much of your solar power you are diverting to your storage system when the time comes to install one (once they become financially viable).
We fired this baby up and it was producing 5180W in a matter of seconds! Live stats from all our Fronius with Smart Meter installs will soon be able to be viewed on our website, check back soon!
