This beastly 12.12kW Grid Connect Solar System was installed last month in Tully.
This system comprised 46 x ET Elite solar panels and 2 x ABB PVI 5000TL-OUTD inverters.
As this customer was on 3 phase power, we were able to hook up each inverter on a different phase. He still has the option to add another 5kW inverter to the 3rd phase if needed, but let's just wait and see how it goes!
Yes, 3 phase inverters are available and used regularly in our installs, but when you are lucky enough to have over 150m² of usable roof space it can be more cost efficient to add systems to each phase as you go.
